Life is but a journey, and we are each sojourners. Life is about what we learn.
Read a wide range of everything, but also study something very in depth.
Always be on the look out for wisdom to enhance your life, for I see wisdom as a key to unlock new doors of ideas and paths.
Remember that self help books are just somebody's idea's of what to do or how to think, or or how to look at things. You only have to use what you think will help you live a better life.
Never stop learning, always be a student. Always be a teacher of what you know, to those who want to learn.
Be thankful for what you have.
Remember family is important.
Never forget your values.
Know your place in this world.
Find out what spirituality means to you.
Always have good friends.
Smile.
Remember each day is a gift, and we can choose what to do with it.
Life is about choices.
Thus is my wisdom. A culmination of 22 years of learning, and I realize I have so many more lessons in store for me to learn.
Brook.

I am a writer. I write stories. I can write an entire world into a paragraph, or an infinite number of pages. I can vanish into the body of a person who is cleverer, stronger, prettier and more thoughtful than me, and reappear when ever I wish. Everyone has an escape mechanism, something that pulls them out of the world when life goes too fast or too slow. Mine is writing. I write because I have to, because I want to, and because I need to. And I think I always will.

When you chose to walk in the way of God your problems may seem too hard to handle as if you had walked over the threshold where all your Happiness, fears and everything in the middle are contained. It is called life, simply grab hold of it and know that God knows how much you can bare. So stand up tall and live, always keeping an eye on the prize ahead which is obtained through God, eternal life and happiness!

To understand life, you must study it. You can learn a lot by sitting alone and still in a forest in the springtime or almost any time of the year providing you are properly dressed for the experience. When you are in motion most of the life hides from you but when you sit still for a whyle the life gradually comes out of hiding and as long as you hold still, will allow you to observe. Watch closely and think about what you are witnesing. At any time of the year you can find a complete circle or cycle wichever word you prefer. It it there always and everywhere but can best be seen in its comleteness in undisturbed nature.
To understand life, you must observe death and how death is basically a renewal.
Other life feeds on the remains of the dead (consider the above paragraph).
I have watched an animal die, looking into its eyes looking for something...looking for answers. There are no answers in the eyes of the dying
I have only seen confusion in the eyes of the animals whose lives I have taken so that their remains may nourinsh my body. Sounds kind of grousome. I think so too.
Where are the answers? After looking outward, I looked inward and found what I believe to be at least a partial answer. I have memories which I can't comprehand why I should have. These memories place me in a different time, in a different place. Places I could not have existed in except in a past life.
I have vague recollections of at leats two past lives. In one, I was a different gender than I am now.
Seven years ago, I met my soulmate again. She remembers one of the lives we shared together possibly a hundred years before I was born into this life.
Together we tried to create a nother life. Our child but after only a few months after conception the heart on the ultrasound screen was no longer beating
At the age of 26, I burried my only child. How could a life appear and dissapear so quickley leaving so much sadness behind?
Now I learn that my wife will be leaving me soon. We have talked about this and she siad that she will wait for me until I can be with her again and until then, she will help me in any way she possibly can while she is beyond my current, limited perceptions.
She doesn't want me to experience the rest of this life alone and ecourages me to find someone else to be with until we are once again united.
My soul is tired. I am growing weary of this type of existance and so is she.
When this life is over and we are once again together we want to experience a higher form of existance, possibly existing as pure thought and explore the universe for a whyle and then, who knows.
As proof of the existance of the soul consinder this: When you are watching a sary movie of the supernatural type and some kind of evil entity threatens the innocent entity or the viewer, why should you be scared. There is no threat of physical injury. You are not scared for your body, you are scared for your soul. Your soul needs protection from evil. Only goodness, only light will make you feel safe.

In man's life, he looks at things, comparing what is the same and different.
Based upon this, he makes his choices good and bad, for love and war.
Religion is yet another thing to find different. We use it to place ourselves
apart from one another. Now that we have done so, what should be done with the
"different" ones? Can they be converted to the right choice? maybe some, but
not all. And what of the ones that will not be converted to the "right" choice?
We are frustrated because they resist and remain different from us. We shall
wage war upon them. After all god is on our side.
Of course, the different ones, on the other side, have the same conversation
is being had about us, and our "wrong" choice for god, and they reach same
conclusion as we have done. And so, both side wage war upon each other in the
name of god (who is on their side) and so on down thru the ages.

As a Soul becomes lost, its form becomes twisted and its hopes torn. So its great to feel so happy when so many cry oceans of sadness, so fortunate to be me in the life that exists at my every breath, though the breaths are sure to be numbered to a point. So as time passes I seek reward for those mistakes that have given knowledge to learn from. I now look at downs as ups and ups as normality's as for then shall I be normal or greater in the sight of happiness at all times. Depression can take impression and lie to those who might have loved to know the truth and the truth should be more often told, as depression should be overpowered. The soul of ones own can easily be conquered with a heart of the willingness to understand all things without question of faith.

in my life i have found one simple thing to ring true... without pain and suffering there is no growth. you cannot help others if you've never experienced anything yourself. this is why jesus wandered to desert to be tested...why he died a horrible painful death. it was to show us the truth. what is the truth? the truth is... you can't get to or appreciate the good times without going through the bad. if you'd never been through trials that seemed to beat you down repeatedly how can you truly say you understand someone else's situation? how would you be able to give them christs message?
...you couldn't... and that's the bottom line.

~~Things Could Always Be Worse~~
When you think your knee hurts
be glad you have a leg...
There are people out there
walking with a peg...
When your eyes are tired
and they are getting sore...
Think of those that can't see
who's knocking
at there door...
When your children have you hanging by a rope...
think of parents who lost a child
some of them to dope...
So when things smell rotten be glad
you have your smell...
For those that come before you
can not smell as well...
So when you think things are really bad...
~~Remember things could always be worse~~
now I think I made my point I don't need another
verse...

Regarding the judging of others....
God does not look at "me" as his wild, blonde haired, second from the last born, Cathoic female. He see's me simply as his baby, in all my beauty, and loves me in my light. He does not segregate his children, so why should we. Shine brightly.

The world today runs on a mixture of mystic faith and unprincipled pragmatism. To the extent that it has principles, those principles hold that the good lies in self-sacrifice: that there is no choice but the evil of sacrificing others to your desires, or the virtue of sacrificing your good to theirs. Your rights are held to derive, not according to what you have earned, but to what you need: so that the man who builds a fortune has only as much right to it as the government permits, but the man who has achieved nothing deserves his share of that fortune unearned, because he needs it.
But whatever good has existed in the world, has existed by virtue of some man's thought and achievement. And what is necessary for human survival and prosperity is for men to be free to think and to achieve, free to set their own goals and means to those goals, with the absolute right to deal with others solely by mutual consent: with physical coercion forever barred from human relationships.
Such a world can be achieved only by the widespread acceptance of the philosophy that makes it possible: a philosophy of reality, reason and individual rights. Then one day, the ideal which moves men and nations will not be faith and sacrifice: but reason, and the knowledge that everyone is an end in themself, with their own happiness as the proper moral goal of their life.

A True Hero Is not Found By Looking Left Right Foreward Or Backward, True Heroes Are Found By Looking Within Oneself For The Courage To Face That Which You Require Ahero To Face For You......True Heroes Discover Themselves.
Hope that helps someone somewhere to find their hero one day.

Never quit dreaming. when one doesn't hav dreams, he has nowhere to go and nothing to look forward to.
never give up hope. Hope in the future is the most valuable thing you own, and when you run out of it, everything seems a dark abyss. never give up the hope of the light at the end of the tunel.
Avoid arrogant people, who only seem to belittle you. They put you down to make themselves bigger, when you are the most important person in your life. Don't let them kick you down.
Always work hard for things you need. One tends to forget the things you need for the things they want.
never forget or underappreciate your friends, for only when one is alone does one seem to really need a buddy.
always live like your 21. Your young enough to live a fun life, but you're still learning the things you need to survive in the real world.
Never become old. Old people never want to get out on a limb, when sometimes life demands a couple risks.
Don't become an optimist, but not a pessimist, either. live in the middle, and you'll be able to see both sides of everything.
never forget innocence. never destroy hope. never forget the little people. always believe in fantasy.

What Is Truth?
Like so many of you, I have been searching for truth. Rummaging through the rubble of contradiction and beneath the ruins of my own experiences. I was tossed about on this raging sea of confusion and turmoil for so very long.
What is truth?
I came to the realization that truth, upon my hearing, must resonate within me as something familiar, gentle, comforting. I have no need for harsh realities nor sheer fantasies. I needed for truth to be more than just a collection of facts or fairy tales.
So I asked of Beauty and Music, those graceful sisters of Truth, to show me that most elusive of all their kin.
And Beauty spoke to me first. I am not mere images. I only appear to you as an image. I exist in a higher form. Of all the images you see, I am the arrangement which pleases most. My colours are harmonious, my depth is multi-dimensional. I am light and shadow and motion, and joy. You view me not with just the eye, for I am more.
You have never beheld my pure form, but have seen glimpses of me in the setting sun across the water, or the clouds drifting across a clear blue sky. or the sunlight dancing on the leaves of the majestic tree wet with freshly fallen rain. My gift to you was imagination when earthly images failed you. I am the source of your inspiration and creativity. A tear rolled down my cheek, blurring my vision, as Beauty I beheld.
And then Music spoke. Yes, I, too, am more. More than a collection of sound. Though I come to you in sound, I am not noise. Of all the sounds you hear, I am the arrangement which pleases most. My tone is pure, my harmony is perfection, my range will carry you to greater depths than you have ever known and upon my strains you shall soar to heights of joy. Your life will pulse with my rhythm and your body will dance to my motion.
Man has never invented the instruments upon which I may be fully expressed. Not just your ears, but every cell of your being may be filled with me. My gift to you was song. I have often heard my song burst forth from your lips and lungs and the sound you make is music to me. A haunting melody played upon my heart's strings as Music I heard.
And there in the midst of Beauty and Music, Truth appeared and spoke to me. I am no Mystery. Neither am I a collection of facts. My words may be found in the highest imagination and the loveliest of songs. I am the greatest collection of knowing. Yes, knowing, not knowledge. For knowledge is dead. I live and breathe.
I am the knowing of your heart where there are no facts to substantiate it. I am the feeling you have that has no external source. I am a tapestry of words that poets weave and the song which the mystic whispers upon the wind. And where language fails you, I will not fail. My gift to you is reflection. I reflect your heart. Without me you could not know your own sweet self. I have heard your thoughts and they are precious to me. You need never fear Truth. I will never harm you.
Man may not come to us here. Yet we may come to man and often do in some measure. To see and hear and drink of us fully, you must be blind and deaf and thirsty. This world is a place of unmade dreams and harsh realities. A place which needs us, yet does not want us. Do you not believe that we would have come to man had he honored us? Some great souls have honored us and they have left priceless treasures scattered here and there on this scarred earth. Yet if man does not honor these treasures, how can he honor us?
'What is Truth?' I am what you want me to be. From the deepest pools of your heart I spring to give life to you. In this dark world where Beauty and Music and Truth are rejected, we have heard your cry and your earnest plea.
But dry your eyes, for we are here now.
And in such a wondrous moment
did Truth become my trusted friend
calming my fears
being nothing less than my highest ideal
which I now had the power to fully believe
I no longer need fantasy or reality
I have something greater
I See
I Hear
I KNOW

Of all the wisdom I have collected from reading philosophers and great literary minds is that the simplest is the best. Be here now, live in this very moment. Know that life is a journey, not a test but a quest to learn what you were sent here to learn. Peace comes when you know yourself and know what you have to offer to this life and to others. Success comes when you share the wealth of the gifts you've been given. Having been given gifts, (mine are writing and drawing)I feel fortunate to be able to express myself in these ways and strive to have what I share touch others lives. I wouldn't want a memoire of mine to be just a chronical of what happened in my little life but something universal that can either comfort or enlighten my reader. A love poem or a sad poem should draw the reader in to experience your words and description. I know that my efforts in expression are successful when they were done for the sake of doing them, for the experience and the priledge of being a conduit for the creative energy to run through and make alive and concrete for others to see and enjoy and learn from. Leave a legacy of sharing, of lives you've touched what ever your gifts may be. I had an aunt once, Aunt Mary. She was plain looking in her everyday apron, and quiet. She kept a lovely home. She was the conventional little woman of the house. A simple unassuming woman who went to town on Thursdays, and church on Sunday. She tended a kitchen garden that rivalled all on her block. This my friends is not where here talents were laid. Lowly flour and water, butter and sugar became magic ingredients in her hands. Aunt Mary was and still is a paragon of focus. She found something that she enjoyed doing and she perfected it to the nth degree. I can still taste the butterey bummpy with grandulated sugar hungarian rolled cookies. When they were still warm from the oven and I was too impatient to wait I found out just how molten warm prune jelly can be. The point is she entered contests and bake offs and she was just the best home baker in the world, because she loved baking her everything she made was great. They say love makes the world go around. I believe it, every job I ever loved gave back to me and helped me take the next step in my career. Every endevour I approached with love and the spirit of sharing has paid me back in joy, learning and fulfillment 100x100 fold.Be in the moment and in love. Amen,Blessed Be Cata Zee

You must make yourself happy before you can make others happy, you see it is an inside job. My heart, my spirit and my conscience are happy and that is what matters the most. Knowing that I am on the right path keeps me grounded and content. So, remember it is not what the Jones do or have that matters, what matters is what you really really really do or want in your life.

Life is for the living. If not for the living, then what? We can never be absolutely sure how many tomorrows lie ahead of us. The only thing we can do is live each day to the max, it's a choice that lies before us on a silver plate every waking moment. No man can accomplish everything in a lifetime, so we are saved by hope. No man can hope to see what lies before them, so we are saved by faith. No man can have faith without God, so we are saved by love.
